I have been an avid listener of Word Balloon and that would be a great forum to promote your books and get some attention back on NEXUS and the Moth! I noticed there isnt a future production calendar for the anthology… is that getting pushed back?

Have you been able to pitch the book as a featured item with the larger Mail Order Retailers and Chains? Mile High, Mail Order Comics, Lone Star etc.

A feature article on Comic Book Resources or Newsarama is good. Dan Brereton was shilling his Nocturnals books and his fan club the other day as his delayed reprint volume is coming out this month.

For local press, an Art Gallery Show in a museum is a great way to get some people out and press attention.

Another thing would be to start blogging about RUDE DUDE PROD., NEXUS, and the daily challenges of going into business on your own. I think alot of people would get really invested in your books if they can get a daily feed into your own creative and economic struggles. You and Mike B, the folks at Rude dude could have a web version of of those reality shows, like Sunset Tan, Blowout, Work Out, Miami Ink, Etc. People really like the slice of life view and then check out the products available out there. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to have a outlet like the Discovery Channel chronicling the Nexus Team getting their product out to the world? It does sacrifice some privacy but it does allow people to come into the fold and get invested and excited in the RDP Product.

A more detailed website chroncling the NEXUS universe, backstory, (the back catalog that publishes the said stories), would be a good place for people to review, discuss and immerse themselves in the rich worlds of NEXUS. Similar sites could introduce MOTH and the other properties. I imagine there must be a few NEXUS fans who would like to tackle this and get some web design credits for the time and effort. Many fan sites are put up and maintained for free especially if they are rewarded by being able to become part of the team going forwards…

Post issue one or the origin on either Newsarama or your own site, with maintained links over time to get people in and hooked on the story.
