Sirs,
I’m looking forward to seeing the return of Nexus after such a long hiatus. I suspect the real challenge will to restore the fans interest in the series as well as making the series accessible to new readers.
However, I’m curious, Dark Horse is currently reprinting the Nexus series published by First Comics. Do DH intend to go all the way to # 80 and the subsequent new (old) series that you two did for Dark Horse?
You have stated that only DH has the rights to reprint the old series, but what will happen to those rights if they stop reprinting the Nexus Archives?
I’ve been recollecting old series being reprinted like Grim Jack and Jon Sable Freelance. I guess Mr. Baron is pleased as punch that Badger is going to be reprinted by IDW as well.
Good luck and fortune on your future productions.

Tom,
You can listen to Steve talk about how he intends to bring back the old while not leaving out the new readers on his latest podcast with Around Comics, Episode 97: http://media.libsyn.com/media/aroundcomics/AroundComics_Ep097.mp3
I can’t say what Dark Horse intends to do. They only greenlight one book at a time, and so far we’re on #6 in the series. We try to post new details as we have them on our messageboard: www.steverude.com/rudeboard.
Cheers,
Jaynelle Rude

Would it be available in pdf.format?

Paul,
In January we made a decision not to release anymore books until the entire series was completed. At this point, we have 101 completed, but are waiting until 102 is completed before releasing either issue.
We anticipate 102 to be penciled by the end of August. If I give Diamond solicitation information in August it will be in the October previews for November release. Likely 101 and 102 will come out 1-2 weeks apart.
